From Cagliari, south coast of Sardinia, Italy, the Hangee V started out in 2003 as a five piece band (hence their name) with the stated purpose to playing their favourite music, sixties garage punk and obscure instrumental surf. In these years they had many gigs all around Italy and Europe and had the chance to share the stage with lots of legendary bands from the internationa garage punk scene.
After several changes in the lineup nowadays they are 3 Piergiorgio, guitars and voice, Marcello bass and vocals Alessandra drums and vocals, hence the decision to switch the neame with the HangeeS.
They've already put out 3 lp and 2 7", plus uncountless compilations with many great bands. Their latest Lp, Heading Back to the GoodValley came out early 2024 cd and vinyl version for the label For Monsters Records

THE NEW ATTENTION (British RnB – Garage Punk – Surf aus Wien, Österreich)
2007 gründete sich THE ATTENTION! und kletterte in den Folgejahren mit ihrem klassischen Sixties-orientierten Sound die musikalische Erfolgsleiter hoch. Internationale Auftritte in angesagten Szeneclubs und auf großen Festivals in ganz Europa, als auch in Russland folgten parallel zu Tonträgerveröffentlichungen auf den Labels, Screaming Apple, Wild Records und Substance inklusive einer Top-3-Chartplatzierung auf GoTV (das österreichische MTV). 2014 gingen die musikalischen und persönlichen Wege der Musiker auseinander.
KING D, Sänger, Songwriter und Grafiker von THE ATTENTION! entschloss sich das Erbe der Band in Form eines neuen Line Ups zu präsentieren und stellte das Quartett unter dem Namen (King D’s) NEW ATTENTION! auf. Der Name spricht für sich selbst: gleicher style – bewährtes Outfit, analoger Sound, aber ein frisches Programm, mit ein paar wenigen Klassikern des alten Line Ups und hauptsächlich neuem Material – wieder geschrieben von dem Mann in der Mitte: King D. Also rein in die Maßanzüge und genießt „That British Sound - Made In Austria!“.
